KICK-ASS Movie Tix!
Ready? KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name -- Kick-Ass -- assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.
His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes -- including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) -- and forges a friendship with another fledgling superhero, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.

ñ & Overture Films are Giving Away Tickets to Sneak Peaks to Pandorum in L.A. , Chicago, NYC, Houston & Tha 305!
ñ and the makers of the terrifying Pandorum want to get you some FREE tickets to the sneak preview of this great Sci-Fi Thriller. The preview is below -but the plot is as follows: Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster (3:10 to Yuma, Alpha Dog) join Cam Gigandet (Never Back Down, Twilight) and Cung Le (Tekken, Fighting) to tell the terrifying story of two crew members stranded on a spacecraft who quickly – and horrifically – realize they are not alone.You see, when these two astronauts awaken in a hyper-sleep chamber aboard a seemingly abandoned spacecraft. It’s pitch black, they are disoriented, and the only sound is a low rumble and creak from the belly of the ship. They can’t remember anything: Who are they? What is their mission?
With Lt. Payton (Quaid) staying behind to guide him via radio transmitter, Cpl. Bower (Foster) ventures deep into the ship and begins to uncover a terrifying reality. Slowly the spacecraft’s shocking, deadly secrets are revealed…and the astronauts find their own survival is more important than they could ever have imagined. Creepy preview below.

gen ñ & Warner Bros. team up to give away FREE TICKETS to the advance screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in MIA, NYC & L.A.!
(This here is a RE-PPOST from last week, but we want this at the top of the page! We're getting great responses for this contest, and you've got roughly one more day to enter!)
As you know dear readers, if you recall our March 2000 magazine issue extolling the virtures of Harry Potter, we at Gen ñ like our wizards and love our Harry. So we've teamed up with Warner Bros. to offer 4 Tickets to gen ñ/Harry Potter fans in Miami, NYC and Los Angeles. We'll be giving away 4 tickets to the New York screening of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, as well as 4 tickets to the Los Angeles screening, and 4 tickets to the Miami screening as well, so there are lots of chances to win for our fans in those areas.
Just email us at contest@generation-n.com and the winners will be choosen at Random. Seating at the advance screening is on a first come, first served basis so be sure and arrive a lil early so you can get your muggle self into the flick!
And for our friends who don't live in LA, NY, MIA - we're giving away one premium Harry Potter hoodie sweatshirt for one fan who doesn't live in those cities.

We like to keep you on your toes at gen ñ - so get with it! The screening is on Monday, July 13th at 6:30 PM. So you'll get to see the film two days before it premieres in theaters.
