At 75, on Sunday Aug 2nd, one of the coolest dudes of all time passed on. He was on Sun Records at the same time as Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash - he recorded this and Flying Saucer Rock n Roll and many a great Rockabilly gem. Here he is at 69 performing at the Old Style Weekend - this cat still hadn't ,missed a beat. Most guys are not this cool at 28 much less 69 - R.I.P. you great cat - Billy Lee Riley. Everybody, lets try to learn how to be cool from this dude. His obits are HERE and HERE - or you could just listen to the Rockabilly swing below - which is prob what he'd want you to do! Go on Cat!
