Not only does it capture the 70s as they really were (no nostalgia for the fashion, but honest regard for both the good and the bad... polyester included), not only does it serve as a brilliant retort to Scarface (Latino gangster, white girlfriend, Pacino and De Palma reunited), but it even leaves room for De Palma's virtuoso Hitchcockian plagiarisms (Rear Window and North by Northwest are each referenced here).<BR/><BR/>It was nice to see a tribute to one of my favorite movies from the guy that helped me get my first screener of it long before it made it onto video.<BR/><BR/>Good luck with generation ñ online.Tony Dayoubhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04632329277519635858noreply@blogger.com
